NOTE: Potential inductees must have been born or spent a large part of their professional career in the greater Cincinnati area.

 

Potential inductees should have a career in jazz that spans a minimum of 25 years.

 

Potential inductees should have a national reputation outside of the greater Cincinnati as well, such as having directed, managed, performed, published, recorded, taught, toured as well as written & arranged! 

 

Non-musicians who meet the following criteria are also to be considered for induction:

  

• Broadcasting stations and/or Broadcasters(DJ's) who've spent a lifetime supporting jazz in the greater Cincinnati area.

•  Club owners and/or restaurants supporting live jazz for at least 25 years or more in the greater Cincinnati area.

• Educators that have made an exceptional impact in the jazz community.

• Producers, promoters, or other people that have actively supported the jazz community.

• Professionals who have made an impact by radio, print, or other media.
